Directions from Galway

Route: Galway-Kilcolgan-Ballyvaughan-Lisdoonvarna-Doolin

50 Miles (1 hr. 30 min.)

From Galway follow signs for Limerick (N18 - South) until after about 10 miles you come to the town of Kilcolgan.

Turn right onto N67 signposted Ballyvaughan - 20 miles. (dangerous junction - please be careful!)

At the T-junction in Ballyvaughan turn left- N67. Follow signs for Lisdoonvarna - 10 miles.

Follow the main street in Lisdoonvarna until the T-Junction. Turn right - R478 - signposted Cliffs of Moher/Doolin.

Straight through the next crossroads.

After approx 3 miles you come to a cross roads with a shop and petrol pump on the left hand side. Turn right for Doolin (R479 - 1 mile).

At the bottom of the hill turn left. Signposted Doolin Pier. After a quarter mile or so veer to the right and cross a small bridge. O'Connors pub is on the right. 30 yards or so beyond O'Connor's is a small lane way on the right. Turn right at the top of this laneway, we are 100 yards further on.
